Owners Jimmy and Allison Collier opened their doors on March 21, 1997. Jimmy developed a love of gardening from his father and went on to earn a degree in horticulture from the University of Georgia, Athens. The Colliers were delighted to find nearly two acres with original home, bordered by Dolly Creek on Old Rocky Ridge Road, and began the journey of opening a nursery. After renovating the house for use as an office, a state-of-the-art greenhouse was added, providing customers with cool breezes and open views to the rest of the nursery.
Over the last 15 years, Collier's has remained true to Jimmy and Allison's original vision of helping Birmingham homeowners succeed in their gardens by offering a superb selection of quality plants and products, a knowledgeable staff and plenty of inspiration.
